Launch of North Down Sports Advisory Council Annual Sports Awards

NDSAC ANNUAL SPORTS AWARDS FOR 2010

The NDSAC Annual Sports Awards for 1st January to 31st December 2010 are now open for nomination. This is your opportunity to nominate participants from your sport to be considered for awards under each of five categories.

We accept nominations in the following categories and the judges will determine the results of the awards, using the performance and supporting information provided with the nominations:-
 
• SPORTS PERSON OF THE YEAR 2010
• SPORTS TEAM OF THE YEAR 2010
• YOUNG SPORTS PERSON OF THE YEAR 2010
• YOUNG VOLUNTEER FOR 2010
• BRUCE MULLIGAN AWARD FOR 2010

At their discretion, the Judges may also award one or more AWARDS OF MERIT for exceptional performance or service in sport during 2010. 
NB Nominations are not required for this category.

Please note that Organisations are invited to submit one nomination in each of the above categories.  Nomination forms and criteria are enclosed and are also available on the NDBC website, www.northdown.gov.uk

We look forward to receiving your nominations by Monday 31 January 2011 and to your Organisation’s participation in the Sports Awards Evening which is being organised to be held on Friday 8 April 2011, details to follow.
